The Hamilton Elks will be organizing a car show and lunch in September at their club building.
The 4th Annual Hamilton Elks Car Show is a program where car enthusiasts can see various models of vehicles while listening to live entertainment. Music for the event is provided by the Mobile Armed Forces Heritage Museum and The Tiltin' Catz. The cost of admission includes a voucher for a soft drink and a burger or hot dog. The activity is open to all makes and models, and those who enter the Elks’ show may win a trophy.
The Elks is a community organization established in 1868 that was initially run by Charles Algernon Sidney Vivian. The group aims to bring people together and create environments where children may grow up healthy. Different branches of the organization offer many services, such as helping kids with their homework, serving meals to those in need, and holding summer camps for those impacted by disabilities.
The car show will be on Saturday, September 17 from noon to 4:00 pm. If the weather is rainy, then the event will move to Sunday, September 18. The cost to attend the activity is $15 at the door and $10 in advance. Advanced tickets will only be available until September 10. Community groups like this may use flyer printing to get others interested in attending their shows.
