Food event supports college-bound seniors

The Robbinsville Hamilton Rotary Club is hosting a Pasta Fest later this month.

Salad, dinner rolls, linguine, several types of sauces, refreshments, and a variety of desserts will be served. A Super 50/50 raffle will be part of the fun in the evening as well.

Proceeds of the event will go towards the Rotary Club of Robbinsville Hamilton, which provides scholarships every year for high school seniors living in the Townships of Robbinsville and Hamilton who plan to attend a vocational or technical school, or embark on a college course for two or four years.

The foundation typically awards $6,000 a year. An additional scholarship of $500 is being given by Pellettieri, Rabstein & Allen, Attorneys at Law, to a student wanting to pursue a teaching degree in special education.

The club is also providing businesses with the opportunity to advertise their goods and services at the event, which will also help with funding the scholarships. A table sponsorship of $100 includes a prominent display of the business on every table and a large screen PowerPoint projection of the sponsors running throughout the evening.

The date for the Pasta fest is Friday, March 27, from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm. The Rotary Club most likely is using flyer printing to create colorful Flyers to attract the community to attend the event and to encourage local businesses to support it.
