Animus to perform at Hamilton museum

The Grounds For Sculpture museum will be holding a concert this August that will feature the band Animus.

Animus is a group that blends music genres from around the world, taking inspiration from Eastern Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and Latin cultures. The band creates original music and has produced six recording releases, including Live at the Tin Angel, The Movements, and Eternal Within. The group has also been nominated by the Philadelphia CityPaper Choice Awards for Best Roots/World Music Performer and Best Local Band.

Members of Animus have played at several venues, such as the Philadelphia Art Museum and World Cafe Live. The band has even traveled to South Africa to perform alongside the Angels of Harmony.
