Alyssa Cranston is the owner of Bedminster Tavern and had, since she was 16, worked at Delicious Heights. Her first positions were as a server and greeter, and she was promoted throughout her career while also working at the Bridgewater Manor as a catering manager. She said she wanted to bring a new concept to the establishment based on her experience.
Bedminster Tavern has been renovated, rebranded, and has new food and beverage Menus. Chef Christopher Albrecht, with whom Cranston worked at Harvest Group, will be joining the restaurant. Cranston said:
“It's a totally new menu. Really completely different. We’re going to go to more of like a seasonal menu, changing it, every fall, winter, spring, summer, because we’re trying to keep things more locally sourced.”
A piano has been added to the restaurant and Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays will feature live music. She added that plans call for reopening the former Legends space, located at the rear of the property and previously part of Willie’s Tavern, as The Stables, a whiskey bar with operating hours Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Such new establishments can benefit from poster printing to promote themselves in a community and throughout surrounding cities and towns like Bernardsville.
