Bernardsville will be holding several activities this fall.
The first is the Drills, Skills, and Thrills Pre-Season Clinic of the Recreation Department. This clinic is for children from kindergarten through sixth grade and prepares kids for the upcoming basketball season. It is a program that builds confidence, sharpens basketball fundamentals, and encourages children to have fun on the court.
This program will be at the gymnasium at Bernardsville Middle School and will be from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Fridays from September 25 through October 30. The cost is $165 for residents and $182 for non-residents.
The second event is the annual Trunk or Treat celebration next month. This is free and offers fun for the entire family. It will take place at the parking lot of the Bernardsville Municipal Pool.
Featured at the event will be face painting, a petting zoo, decorating pumpkins, a hay maze, and a costume contest, as well as entertainment provided by DJ Doctor D. There will be vehicles sponsored by businesses, decorated for the holiday and offering trick-or-treat. Businesses interested in participating in this event can register online. There will be awards for the decorated cars. The Trunk or Treat will take place from noon to 3:00 pm on Saturday, October 24.
Flyer printing can be used to inform residents and those of neighboring communities of such special events and programs.
