Volleyball recruiting event brings Charlotte talent together
Youth volleyball players with aspirations of playing at the collegiate level will want to dust off their shoes and begin training, as a recruitment combine is coming to town.
The 2025 Queen City Recruiting Combine will open its doors to aspiring collegiate players next month. Each attendee will have the opportunity to display their skills and knowledge of the game to college scouts from around the region. The combine is among the premier recruiting events to help high school athletes get noticed and take their first steps on the ladder.
The combine will be open to female athletes from 8th through 12th grade, and over 30 colleges and universities will attend with their scouts. Player packets will also be available for athletes to send to colleges in states like Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, and Maryland. Printing services are an ideal way to print information about the athletes to share with college recruiters at such events.
Players will be divided by position and graduation year to allow for effective evaluations. Each court will have a coach dedicated to teaching the assigned athletes. At the request of college coaches, parents will not be permitted into the combine.
The combine will be held at the Charlotte Convention Center on Friday, January 31, with the doors opening at 6:30 PM. Registration is available online for $135 per athlete.
