What's Happening in Charlotte, NC…

Artisan market provides platform to Charlotte creatives

Art lovers will start converging on the Queen City next month to attend one of the area’s top artisan markets, and interested parties are welcome to bring friends and family.

The Potters Market at the Mint 2025 will open its doors to shoppers, collectors, and art enthusiasts this autumn to show off the work of local artists and help them create new connections. The market is one of The Mint Museum’s star attractions for the season and a continuation of a Charlotte community tradition.

Guests will get to explore the works of different artists and vendors in the shade of a large white tent. The two-day market anticipates welcoming over 1,500 visitors, and organizers have arranged for 55 of North Carolina’s top potters to attend. Promotional products and business cards can help vendors at such markets make new connections and promote their work.

The market is an ideal setting for the curious residents in Charlotte while doubling as a prime shopping opportunity for the city’s collectors. Live artist demonstrations will be held and bluegrass bands will perform to keep attendees entertained and enthralled. A beer garden will be open, and free parking is available.

The Mint Museum Randolph in Charlotte will host the potter’s market on its lawn, starting at 5:30 PM on Friday, September 26th. Day passes are available online for $25 per visitor.
