Charlotte residents who enjoy creative activities and social experiences will want to save space on the calendar for this December, as a sip-and-sew experience is getting set to open.
The Annual Sip & Sew Holiday Fundraiser, which will benefit The JU-EL Effect, is preparing to help creative individuals in the Queen City get the holiday season started in style. Attendees can enjoy an environment that is conducive for making new friendships and indulging in the creative side of the brain while helping to raise money for a good cause.
Participants will get to design and bring to life unique ugly Christmas sweaters while enjoying refreshments, including holiday-themed drinks. The sip-and-sew will also give guests a chance to get ahead with holiday shopping, as local artisans and vendors have committed to attending. Vendors at such events can make their booths stand out by investing in banner printing, with Business Cards creating an even more positive impression.
The experience is open to men and women of all experience levels, and the dress code is red or burgundy Apparel. All materials will be provided, and a cash bar will be open at the host venue.
The sip-and-sew session is set for Thursday, December 3, from 6:00 to 9:00pm at the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts & Culture in Charlotte. Tickets can be purchased online for $33.85 per person.
