An event has been organized for Charlotte that will shine a spotlight on businesses that choose to use sustainable methods and encourage others to do the same.
The Green Gala-Sustainable Business Awards and Fundraiser will see as many as 400 people attend from across the state of North Carolina. The keynote speaker for the evening will be Suzane Shelton, who is a nationally recognized expert in the field marketing of sustainable energy throughout the USA. Her writings on the subject have also been featured in several publications that have received national attention.
The gala will also recognize leaders in the area of sustainability, and a poll will be taken for this year’s scholarship recipient. In addition to this, there will be a silent auction. Graphic design can be used to create everything from decorations to Invitations, programs, and more for an event such as this.
Tickets for the evening are priced at $125 for USGBC members, $160 for nonmembers, and $80 for those who are full time students. The organizers are also seeking sponsors for the gala.
The Green Gala-Sustainable Business Awards and Fundraiser will take place at The Ritz-Carlton in Charlotte starting at 5:30 pm on September 15.
