Ring in the New Year first night Charlotte style
In light of all the shopping and preparation that goes into Christmas, it’s easy to lose sight of New Year’s. Luckily, First Night Charlotte has been in the works for a while now.
Starting at noon and ending at midnight on December 31st, 2011, the residents of Charlotte are invited to celebrate the New Year in style. Though local printers have likely already been put to work with flyer printing and additional poster printing, those same companies will have to hold on a bit longer. Signs and banner printing will almost certainly be a part of the Celebration.
As stated by the site:
Those who decide to be a part of the celebration will be entertained from the get-go. Whether opting to come for the kid’s events during the afternoon or instead showing up later to enjoy The Atlanta Party Band, there are options for everybody here.
Wristbands are free for those under the age of four while 5-12 year bands are worth $5. Those over the age of 13 are asked to pay $10 for a wristband. Between the low-costs and the great line-up planned, this is a wholesome and family-friendly event.
