Locals to enjoy fall festival
The 5th Annual Ballantyne Festival, ‘Autumn in the Park’, offers food, music, and plenty of fun activities. Marketing services have likely been used to promote this Charlotte event.
The festival will offer an oyster roast, where local chefs will prepare recipes featuring fresh oysters. Food trucks and vendors will also be on site selling beer and wine, along with sweet and savory offerings.
Guests can enjoy live music such as the headliner band Simplified. Other entertainment includes dancing, cheerleaders, gymnastics, and karate.
Attendees may want to check out the arts and crafts village where vendors will be selling handmade items. Families can also visit the Fun Zone with inflatables, a balloon artist, and face painting.
Competitive types can participate in the Harvest Bowl, where there will be an oyster shucking and a pie eating contest. Other competitions during the festival include a chili cook off, a student art contest, and a pumpkin carving contest. In addition, attendees can enter a raffle for a chance to win a variety of prizes.
Admission is free, but individuals can choose to be a festival friend for $150 and companies can choose to be a festival supporter for $250. These contributions include drink tickets, a digital social media badge, and a website mention.
It all takes place on October 10 from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm at the Ballantyne District Park, located on 9405 Bryant Farms Road.
