Latin dance festival heats up at local hotel
For the third time, a yearly dance festival will allow residents to move and groove to various types of Latin music later in July.
The Charlotte Bachata and Salsa Festival (CBSF) gives guests access to workshops, competitions, and professional instructors. Day and night, the DJs will be playing music. There will be pool parties, contests, and anyone who wants to learn how to dance can take an intensive salsa, bachata, or kizomba class.
In the evenings, dance parties will be held in a spacious ballroom. Guests can also enjoy demonstrations featuring both champion and novice dancers. Teams interested in performing at the festival can apply on the Charlotte Bachata website.
Admission for all three days is $175. For each individual festival day, there are also pass options that range from $70 to $100. Finally, a party pass costs $70. Tickets can be purchased online until July 24. Extra fees may apply.
