Shoppers will be able to place their orders with Food Lion, Whole Foods Market, Costco, Harris Teeter Supermarket, Publix, and BJ’s Wholesale Club, and Instacart will deliver it in as little as one hour. It will be offered to 10 zip codes at first, but may expand should the demand be there.
The service can be accessed via a computer, cell phone, or tablet. Customers enter the system, select the city of their choice, pick the items and then add the delivery time frame option. The personal shopper revives the order on their smartphone and heads to the store.
After they are purchased, the items are delivered in the specified timeframe. Flyer printing can be used to market services such as this to people throughout the community that will be in its target customer area.
