Fundraiser to welcome Charlotte seafood lovers
A food-filled fundraiser has been moved to this winter, and it will see diners enjoying a seafood selection in support of children’s cancer research.
The hosts of Charlotte’s Roastin’ for Research explained that in response to COVID-19, a decision was made to move the activity from October to a later date. The good news is that this will give them even more time to make it an afternoon to remember, and the menu for the occasion will be filled with seafood and other fare.
The guests at the celebration will be invited to enjoy a selection of craft beers to go along with their oysters and other food, and live music will add some extra fun to the function. Admission is free, and food tickets can be bought separately. T-shirts that feature a special graphic design will be available for purchase ahead of time.
A large group of corporate and community sponsors has chosen to stand behind this fundraiser. The logo design of each of these partners has been included in the event’s online listing, along with more information about the gathering.
Devine Barrel Brewing, which can be found at 3701 North Davidson Street in Charlotte, will be opening the doors for this foodie friendly fundraiser at 12:00 noon on March 27. The ticket price for food is currently set at $38.70 each, although this will go up on March 12.
