Eatery tour being offered in Charlotte
Foodies from Charlotte and the surrounding area that are interesting in learning more about what their city has to offer the gourmet palate are invited to join the Culinary Tour Through NoDa.
This celebration of food, which will take place in the North Davidson Arts District, will see those who take part enjoy dishes prepared by chefs who work in the establishments that can be found there. While they do so, they will learn more about the history of the community.
The samples, which will be served at seven different eateries, will be paired with an opportunity to try gourmet coffees, wines and locally brewed beer as well as desserts and other taste treats. Those who take part will also have a chance to meet the chefs behind the food. Promotional drinkware can be used during events such as this to further help promote any restaurants involved.
The tour starts at 12:30 on April 2nd in Heist Brewery, which is located at 2909 Davidson Street. The cost to participate has been set at $50.00 each. Those who would like to go on the tour are advised that they should wear comfortable shoes, as there will be walking involved. Children are welcome.
