Course to help Charlotte charities make the most of grant proposals
The grant writing process can be a difficult one to navigate for not-for-profit organizations, but during an upcoming Charlotte workshop, those who perform this task will learn ways they can make it a whole lot easier.
During the Essential Strategies for Writing Grant Proposals seminar, participants will learn a set of strategies that they can use to write successful grant proposals. They will discover how to make the best use of keywords and phrases in drafting their project description.
The event will be facilitated by G and M Grant Services, which is a company that helps not-for-profit groups in grant writing. As a part of the training, each person who participates will have an opportunity to put their new tools into practice and receive feedback on their efforts. They also walk away with instructional materials and handouts so that they can continue to apply what they have learned when they draft grant applications and funding proposals. A print company can use the comb binding process to create manuals and other information for those who take part in this type of training.
The workshop has been planned for February 28th, and will run from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm in Country Inn & Suites located at 131 East McCullough Drive in Charlotte. More details can be obtained by visiting the organizers' website.
