Individuals who manage a molding plant, or who are interested in learning more about doing so, can register now for a learning opportunity that will explore the topic in depth.
Charlotte’s Paulson Plastics Academy offers an assortment of continuing education classes, and it has scheduled a session of its Profitable Molding for Managers short course. It will run for three days, and the tuition fee for classes is $2,995.
The participants in the course will be given a variety of information, and the focus will be on how to run and manage a molding plant so that it makes a profit. There will be a discussion of cost drivers as well as personnel management, equipment maintenance, team building, and the basics of lean manufacturing, and other topics are on the agenda as well. The sessions will be held at Charlotte’s Polymers Center, and long pants and close-toed shoes are mandatory.
Offering a short course like this is one of the ways an educational institution can support a city’s commercial side. Stationery printers will be able to design certificates of completion to present to each person who participates in any continuing education initiative.
Paulson Plastics Academy has organized this learning opportunity so that it will begin on December 14. It will be taught by Todd Bryant, and there are no prerequisites required to take part in the workshops.
