Charlotte seafood lovers to unite for shellfish feast
Summer time is seafood time for Charlotte, and a meal is in the works for the city that will offer a feast featuring a wide selection of shellfish and other fare.
The event, which has been planned for the latter part of August, will see fresh seafood cooked outdoors in keeping with the traditions found along the Low Country Coast. Blue crabs and snow crab legs will both be on the menu, while those who prefer a different meal can enjoy a platter of fish and chips. The atmosphere will be casual and welcoming to all ages, and live entertainment will be on hand.
Guests at the function can enjoy limitless servings of blue crabs, while the fish and chips and snow crab legs platters will be single servings. Seating will be allocated upon arrival, and attendees can bring along a folding chair if they wish. Personal crab mallets and condiments are welcome, but the ticket holders are asked to leave large bags, coolers, and outside beverages at home.
This type of event is often planned so that it offers a relaxed and “laid back” vibe. A banner printing company can supply decor that welcomes everyone who attends, and it can add to the overall fun feeling of the afternoon.
This opportunity for Charlotte shellfish fans to feast on the food they love will be held in Park Road Park on August 24. Two separate seatings will offered.
