A neighborhood in Charlotte is readying its storefronts and marketing a unique holiday shopping experience, and area residents are encouraged to visit.
The Fourth Ward Holiday Sip and Stroll are preparing to welcome Charlotte residents and visitors for a relaxing and nostalgic holiday shopping experience. The stroll will take registered guests and attendees through the historic neighborhood. Homeowners in the area are preparing for the stroll by decorating their homes with traditional holiday decor to enhance the environment.
The stroll will be self-guided. Visitors will enjoy a porch crawl that will offer access to delicious food and snacks, along with cocktail tastings while supplies last. Seasonal live music will enhance the environment and provide the evening’s entertainment. Interested parties can upgrade their tickets to add three historic home tours to their evening agenda. Poster printing is an effective way to share information about the event while offering souvenirs to collectors who attend.
Several area restaurants and vendors, including Pizzeria Sapenzia, Green River Whiskey, and The Dunhill Hotel, are participating in the stroll. Friends of the Fourth Ward are organizing and sponsoring the gathering, which will be held rain or shine.
Registered guests can arrive at the ticket booth at W. 9th and N. Poplar Streets on December 5th, 6th, or 7th, with the strolls starting at 5:00 PM. Tickets start at $30 per guest and can be purchased online.
