Educators who are looking for their first post or want to move up the career ladder may wish to make sure they are part of a career fair being offered in Charlotte. It is being hosted by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, and will include representatives from over 160 schools.
The positions that need to be filled include ones for teachers, media specialists, psychologists, and also school counselors. Candidates from both in and out of the state are welcome, and while it is not intended for those seeking a transfer, though those in End of Year contracts are encouraged to participate.
The organizers recommend that everyone who comes to the career fair should bring along high-quality Copies of their resume and Business Cards, and come dressed in professional attire. To help make it easy for anyone who does not live in Charlotte to attend the hiring fair, the organizers are working with a local hotel to set aside a block of rooms at a preferred rate. More details will be released about this closer to the date of the event.
