Charlotte invited to attend revamped food and wine festival
A Charlotte festival has continued to offer local foodies a chance to enjoy wines sourced from all across North Carolina, and its organizers recently announced that it has undergone a revamp.
The annual Great Grapes! Festival has been newly re-imagined, and this year it will showcase wines from all over the world, as well as a selection of beers and spirits. This will put the local craft brewing and distillery sector front and center, and anyone who is interested can purchase their tickets now.
The event will give wines produced in the USA – as well as France, Spain and Italy – a place in the spotlight, and a variety of games will be set up so the guests can have fun while they sip their samples. Each ticketholder will receive a custom tasting cup and other promotional products they can keep, and anyone who would like to purchase bottles of their favorites to take home may be able to do so.
Along with the wines, spirits, and beer, members of Charlotte's food truck community will be parked on site. Live music and other entertainment will be on the agenda, and there will be activities just for the kids.
The date for this newly revamped food and beverage festival will be October 1. Symphony Park has been selected to host the occasion.
