Charlotte festival to treat foodies to fun-filled day
Charlotte’s Symphony Park will be the venue for a celebration that will have Charlotte foodies smiling.
The city will be welcoming locals and visitors for its Mac and Cheese and Wing a Ding Festival, which has been rescheduled to early June. It will be a food-filled occasion, and at least 30 different types of wings will be on the menu.
Chicken wings have come to be a popular pub-style food, and the festival will have options on offer ranging from mild and sweet to scorching hot. These will be paired with mac and cheese dishes, and the area’s craft breweries and cideries will be represented as well. Attendees will be invited to vote for their favorite wings, and the winner will receive a cash prize.
While this community festival is open to food lovers of all ages, only those who are 21 and up will be able to purchase alcohol. Live bands and other entertainment will round out the experience. Banner printing companies will be able to incorporate a function’s logo design into the marketing materials it crafts for a festival or other large recurring event.
This Charlotte celebration will treat the city to a day of fun in the sun on Saturday, June 3. Tickets are on offer now, and they are available on the event’s website.
