Charlotte celebration to send kids back to school in style

The right to an education is one that is enjoyed by Charlotte's children and youth, but not all families are able to afford the materials needed to make the most of this opportunity. The Queen City Back 2 School Festival will work to send each student back with confidence in their step and a smile on their face while also helping to provide school supplies for disadvantaged families.

The planners of the occasion have created an afternoon that will be packed with activities, giveaways and other fun. A curated selection of vendors has been invited to participate, and there will also be prizes awarded for the Best Beard and Best Table Display.

While their parents browse and socialize, the kids can have their faces painted, visit the bounce castle and try out the games. The whole family can pick up some treats at the bake sale, and everyone who participates has been asked to be very generous and make a donation of school supplies. These can be dropped off at the event’s welcome desk and will be collected for distribution.

To thank the public for being a part of the festivities, there will be a giveaway of items that the kids can use at school. A printer can prepare promotional Pens, personalized pencils, Notebooks and a wide variety of similar items for this sort of function.

This opportunity for students to kick off their new school year in style will be taking place on September 7th. The Carole Hoefener Center will be hosting the celebration.
