This month, residents in Charlotte can enjoy a night out while helping several charities.
The Queen City Gala is a black tie affair, the proceeds from which will go to the Men’s Shelter of Charlotte (MSC), Samaritan's Feet, and Lydia’s Legacy. Guests will be treated to dinner and dancing.
MSC provides temporary shelter and devotes its efforts to ending homelessness. The organization also strives to provide food and personal items for its occupants. Lydia's Legacy raises awareness and finances research for gynecologic cancers such as cervical, ovarian, and uterine cancers, while Samaritan’s Feet provides new shoes for underprivileged people.

It will take place at the Levine Museum of the New South. The interactive historical museum gives insight into life in the South during the post-Civil War era. Accustomed to hosting meetings and weddings, the establishment has several rooms and halls to accommodate important events. Event guests are welcome to view the museum’s exhibits.
The museum is located at 200 East Seventh Street. The gala takes place on September 20, beginning at 6:30 pm, and costs $125 per person and $225 for couples. Tickets can be purchased on the gala’s website or Event Brite.
