Charlotte area ride to help kids in need
Charlotte motorcycle riders who are looking for a chance to enjoy hitting the road with their friends while they raise money to help children in the local area may wish to mark their calendars for a ride that will be celebrating its 16th year.
Keith’s Ride, which will be a fully police-escorted event, will head out from Matthew’s Fun Machines at 10:00 am. The riders will cruise along to Morrow Mountain State Park before turning around and heading back to the starting point for 1:45 pm.
Before starting the trip, the group will be treated to coffee and a meal. At the start, a light snack will be served, and upon their return, the riders will be able to relax over lunch and live music. The registration fees begin at $50.00 each, and the proceeds will be donated to Club LAMA! Kids Fund, which provides support to families who are experiencing distress due to health or other reasons. Banner printing services for this type of fundraising occasion can be supplied by a print company in the local area.
This day on the road in the fresh air is scheduled to take place on May 5. The riders are asked to gather at 11240 East Independence Boulevard in Matthews before the fundraiser begins, and more information can be found on the organizer’s website.
