Career fair planned for Charlotte's job hunters
Charlotte is home to a diverse group of businesses, organizations, and other enterprises, many of which are currently hiring. A job fair that will bring them together under one roof is in the works, and anyone who feels it may be helpful is encouraged to attend.
The event will give jobseekers and those who are considering a career change a chance to meet with employers face to face. They can discuss the positions available now along with those the company anticipates may be open in the future and what combination of qualifications and experience it is looking for.
Members of the public who attend this sort of event are advised to dress to impress and bring along plenty of high-quality, professionally made business cards, and copies of their résumé. Any business or group that would like to be represented during the hiring fair is invited to contact the organizers to reserve their spot, as there may still be some available.
This hiring fair has been organized through the collaborative efforts of Best Hire Career Fairs and Job Fair Pro. Admission is free for jobseekers, while the registration fee for employers will depend upon which registration package is selected.
Hilton Charlotte University Place has reserved Thursday, May 16 for this employment event. The doors will open at 11:00 am.
