Basketball players and fans should lace up their favorite basketball shoes and prepare to hit the court next month as the Charlotte Hornets host a Martin Luther King Day hoops clinic.
The Charlotte Hornets are passing their skills and basketball knowledge onto the next generation in mid-January with a clinic for young athletes to grow their skills. Attendees will enjoy the chance to play 5-on-5 basketball games with other participants.
The event will begin with warm-ups and skill work. The games at the clinic will be geared toward providing a fun experience and emphasizing the fundamentals of basketball. Participants will enjoy skills competitions and compete for exciting prizes and Promotional Products, including a Charlotte Hornets t-shirt.
Two complementary ticket vouchers for a Hornets regular season home game are included with the price of admission. Each session is coached by a qualified Hornets coach, who provides guidance and coaching to help participants grow their skills and confidence. Top performers will receive recognition at the end of the clinic. The event is an excellent opportunity for aspiring basketball players to learn from the best.
The basketball clinic is scheduled for Monday, January 15th, and will be hosted at the Spectrum Center’s practice court.
