Food lovers and BBQ enthusiasts may wish to refrain from making plans next month, as a barbecue festival is bringing flavor and festivities to Charlotte.
The 3rd Annual Carolina BBQ Festival 2024 is scheduled to begin at the start of April, allowing Charlotte residents to sample the best barbecue options in the region. The event will kick off with music from rising artist Filmore, an artist who has opened for musicians like Sam Hunt and Blake Shelton.
Guests can also look forward to Pitmaster Stan Hays visiting Charlotte for the BBQ Festival. Hays will be bringing mobile cookers to meet the demand for barbecue dishes at the event. Attendees will be served dinner on-site, thanks to Pitmaster Amanda Riggans. Top menu items will include pulled pork sliders, chicken sliders, and pork ribs. Sides include cole slaw and Mexican street corn. Banner printing effectively allows barbecue restaurants and pitmasters to announce their presence at events like this.
Over 15 pitmasters from the Carolinas will attend the festival. Vendors will also participate in selling their wares. Furthermore, guests will have access to local wines and beer for refreshments at the festival.
Victoria Yards will host the BBQ festival on the weekend of April 5th and 6th, with the event’s kickoff starting at 6:30 pm on Saturday. Tickets start at $99 and are available to interested parties online.
