This month, the Mint Museum in Uptown Charlotte is celebrating America.
The museum has several activities to help celebrate its newest exhibit: America the Beautiful: Works on Paper from the Mint Museum. The exhibit has over 200 works of art using paper as its medium.
First, there will be a special 'Taste of the Mint: America the Beautiful' where attendees can enjoy special summer menu pairings from Halcyon, Flavors from the Earth: a restaurant in the museum. Guests will be treated to small plates, beverages, and dessert. They will also be given a private museum tour. Admission costs $40 or $30 for Mint Members. Registration needs to be completed prior to July 14, and individuals can register online or by calling 704-337-2018.
Then, families can enjoy the America the Beautiful themed ‘Sunday Fun Day’, where attendees can create a work of art with America as the subject. There will also be gallery visits, artist demos, and yoga sessions. This event is free for Mint members and children, while admission for adults is $6. A Stationery printing service was no doubt asked to make tickets for the events.
The Taste of the Mint will take place on July 15 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm. The Sunday Fun Day will be held on July 19 from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm.
