Geotechnical engineering summit scheduled for Charlotte

Students and engineers will want to keep an open schedule next month as a significant engineering summit is stopping in the Charlotte region.

The GeoCarolinas 2024 Conference is scheduled to proceed in a few weeks, providing industry professionals and students an opportunity to network and learn more about the basics of geotechnical engineering. Attendees will hear presentations from industry experts like David Frost, Georgette Hlepas, and Hannah Iezzoni.

Guests will attend the event at the Mint Museum Uptown. The event has ample space for the summit, with the James B. Duke Auditorium hosting most of the proceedings. Attendees will also be treated to a Student Poster Session. The students will share the results from research conducted at renowned universities like North Carolina State, Clemson, and the University of South Carolina with attendees.
