What's Happening in Charlotte, NC…

Charlotte to enjoy performance of cult classic

An evening based on a movie that has been considered a cult classic will soon be screened in Charlotte, and it will introduce the film to a new generation of audiences.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a flick that has come to include heavy audience participation, and a musical revue version of the show will take to the stage at Visulite Theatre. The doors will open one hour in advance of the curtain going up, and tickets are $20.00.

The performance, which was described as being a tribute experience to the original actors and musical score, will include the film’s most popular songs as well as snippets of its dialogue. The story will be told between the music.

Both those who are new to the show and die-hard fans alike may enjoy the experience. The performers will actually be playing the instruments, and the crowd will be encouraged to sing along.

It has become a tradition in many theaters to hand out programs to those who attend a live performance. Stationery printers will be able to prepare materials in a wide selection of styles and sizes, and they can include a special graphic design.

Visulite Theatre will be treating an audience to this cult classic on Saturday, January 28. The doors will open to ticketholders at 7:00 pm.
