A Charlotte brewery, cidery and tour company have all joined forces with Samaritan’s Feet for a day of fun that will help to make sure every child has shoes and socks to wear.
Locals are invited to be part of the very first ever Hoppy Trot fun run or walk. The route is three miles long, and everyone is welcome, whether they choose to walk, run or roll along with the use of an assistive device or a stroller. It is intended to be a fun occasion, and the participants are encouraged to gather their friends and family together to support the cause.
Tickets for the run are on offer for $30, and this includes registration as well as an event T-shirt and other Promotional Products. At the end of the course, the participants will be treated to a craft beer pour from Sugar Creek Brewing Company, and a portion of the monies raised will be used to help Samaritan's Feet purchase shoes and socks for those in need, both locally and all across the globe.
The walkers, runners and rollers will meet at Sugar Creek Brewing company before they head out for this fundraising activity. The event has been planned for April 6, and anyone who has questions or requires additional information can contact the planner through its website.
