Charlotte session to explore circular economy

Mother Nature offers many learning experiences, and Charlotte families have been invited to take part in one of these by attending a local event.

The organizers of Shreds and Shrooms will be exploring the world of agriculture and other STEM-based subjects, and a cookery component is also on the agenda. The participants will walk away with a deeper understanding and appreciation for sustainable living, and tickets are $35.

The group will kick off their day by taking part in hands-on activities at the 100 Gardens Aquaponics Lab, and after this, they will spend some time at the MUSH! Mushroom farm. After this a cooking class will prepare vegetarian dishes, and everyone will eat and share what they have prepared before ending the day with a discussion of the importance of composting. Everyone who would like to attend is advised to reserve at least three hours for the session.

A hands-on workshop can help introduce the public to the subject matter at hand. The attendee may appreciate receiving a certificate of completion, and these can be prepared by area Stationery printers, along with waivers, Letterheads, and other documents.

Shreds and Shrooms will be introducing the public to the benefits of a circular economy on June 3. It will run from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm at 932 Seigle Avenue in Charlotte.
