Charlotte job cruise ship career fair planned

Norwegian Cruise Lines is looking for people for a variety of positions, and it has planned a job fair for Charlotte to help fill them.

Those who come to the career fair will have a chance to learn more about the company and what having a job on board ship is like. Both a morning and afternoon session have been planned, and anyone who is interested can choose the one that is best for them.

The attendees of the function are reminded that they should be prepared to be interviewed on site, and there are a wide assortment of positions available, ranging from bar waiters and chefs to broadcast technicians, stateroom stewards and many others. All applicants are required to have a high school diploma or the equivalent, must be at least 18, be a Permanent Resident Alien or US citizen and meet other criteria that have been set by the company.

During both sessions, once the presentation has begun the doors will be closed and no further entry will be permitted. A local printing services provider will be able to supply the job seekers who come to this type of event with high quality Copies of their resumes, cover letters and other materials that can help them to land the job they interview for.

This cruise ship career fair will be hosted by the Omni Charlotte Hotel on February 6th. More details can be found on the organizer’s Facebook page.
