Charlotte is about to get crabby for a cause

This fall, Charlotte will be playing host to an event that will put seafood, especially blue crabs, front and center.

The South-East Crab Feast will see seafood lovers enjoying an all-you-can-eat experience, which includes fresh baskets of fish and chips, steamed oysters and, of course, freshly caught blue crabs. The boil water will be heavily seasoned, but guests are welcome to bring along their own condiments and dipping sauces, as well a tool for crushing the shells to reach the meat. Both soda and water will be available for purchase, and guests are not permitted to bring their own beverages, coolers, or large Bags.

The event is one of several that will be held throughout the Southeastern US, and a portion of the proceeds from these festivities is donated to serval not-for-profit groups. Tickets must be purchased ahead of time, as they cannot be bought on the day of the event. Custom Drinkware, such as printed plastic drinking cups, can be produced by a local printer for large fundraising functions like this.

The South East Crab Feast will be held on October 7, and those who are interested can choose between two different seating times. Park Road Park will serve as the venue for the celebration, and further details can be found on its website.
