Charlotte cooks on Mothers Day

This month, budding chefs in Charlotte can whip up some culinary delights for a Mother’s Day brunch.

Chef Alyssa Gorelick will be teaching class participants to make a healthy meal, including a sausage dish and scones. The menu is designed for a Mother’s Day brunch. The cooking class will gather its sustainable ingredients from the Atherton Mill and Market, which offers plenty of fresh ingredients at its farmers’ market. The class costs $60 per person and is for ages 21 and over.

Alyssa’s Kitchen provides cooking classes for many different abilities. From themed Menus to private classes, there is a food adventure suitable for anyone. Along with learning some new skills, participants can be social and have fun.

The owners, Alyssa and Andrew, are a couple who combined their skills to open a unique business. Chef Alyssa has been recognized in numerous Print publications and on television, while Andrew takes care of the marketing and event planning aspect of the business.

The company could use business card printing services to make an original card to distribute to the students in the cooking classes. An elegant card featuring the company’s logo would help patrons remember their culinary experience.

The cooking class is on May 11 from 10:30 am until 1:00 pm. Students will gather inside the Atherton Mill and Market located at 2104 South Boulevard. Call (704) 817-7568 for more information.
