St. Louis residents are invited to take part in an annual event. This year, though, the event will be celebrated a little differently.

The St. Louis Turkey Trot celebrates Thanksgiving, as well as ushering in the holiday season. This year, the Thankful Turkey Edition of the St. Louis Turkey Trot 10K & 5K will be a virtual race. In order to take part, runners need to take a few simple steps.

First, they need to register online. There are four races to choose from: the 5K, 10K, Half-Marathon, and the Kids’ Division. Participants who register will receive finishers' certificates, commemorative quarter zips, and they will be able to access race results online.

Once registered, participants will receive the gear commemorating the event through the mail. Then, they can run or walk whatever route they have chosen any time between the required dates. They may use any method they like to keep track of their distance and time. Once they have finished their event, participants should send their data to the leader board, Print off their finisher's certificate, and use the 2020 smile medal—which means taking a selfie—and show off to their friends.

The races should be competed between Thanksgiving Day, which is November 26 this year, and November 29. Organizers of events like this can use flyer printing to create instructional handouts to accompany the material they send out.
