St. Louis visits the barn
A special event for families will take place at Suson Park shortly.
The All Around Barn Tour will present the opportunity to learn more about animals on the farm and enjoy a day outside. The farm is located in South St. Louis County in Sappington.
Knowledgeable farm representatives will tell stories about each of the animals living there. A range of animals lives in the park, including cattle, horses, chickens, and sheep. They will also demonstrate how the animals are fed, groomed, and cared for throughout the day. The interactive event is educational and fun for children as well as adults.
In addition to the farm animals, Suson Park is a popular attraction filled with lakes for fishing, a playground and picnic accommodations. Fritz Shelter, Lakeside Shelter, and Spindler Shelter all may be reserved in advance. Children are encouraged to run, play, and explore the park.
Local printing services often provide signage for outdoor education venues. Poster printing is a common request as the posters can be printed in full color and placed throughout the premises with pertinent information and colorful images. They can easily be moved as needed, as well.
Suson Park is located off of intersection Highway 21 and Wells. The event will take place Friday, June 4 starting at 10:00 am. The park opens at 8:00 am. and closes at dusk.
