St. Louis to participate in nationwide pub trivia contest
St. Louis trivia buffs should note that the Dr. Crawl M.D. Trivia Pub Crawl is coming to town in January.
Hosted by event organizer It’s a Pub Crawl Thing, the Dr. Crawl M.D. Trivia Pub Crawl is a nationwide trivia pub contest where teams from various cities compete with each other for a chance to win prizes. Pub crawlers will need to go from one participating bar to another and answer a unique set of questions. The contest will end at midnight, and the winning teams will be announced the following Monday after the event.
Prizes will include cash, gift cards, trophies, and tickets or discount codes to future crawls. The first-place prize will be a trophy and $3,000, which will be awarded through PayPal or Venmo.
Participants will also receive themed promotional products with their ticket purchase. General admission ticket holders will receive a free wristband, koozie, and cup. In addition to the general admission swag, VIP ticket holders will also receive a free T-shirt, keychain, and lanyard.
The pub crawl is scheduled for Saturday, January 9 from 3:00 pm to midnight, and the location is to be announced. If the event is postponed due to COVID-19, tickets purchased will be good for the postponed dates. Tickets can be purchased online at Eventbrite.com, with prices ranging from $14.99 to $27.99 plus processing fees.
