St. Louis to organize peaceful event

The St. Louis Story Stitchers Artists Collective will be holding a peace festival in April at the World's Fair Pavilion.

Peace in the Prairie is a community event where people can learn about how life in the city is different to living in the state's endangered prairie lands. Many organizations have helped support the festival, including the Missouri Arts Council and Spirit of St. Louis Women's Fund. People can purchase boxed lunches during the event and watch a film screening of a movie created by the St. Louis Story Stitchers.

Several vendors will be attending the event, such as Alive and Well and Dig Annuals and Perennials. There are also booths at the festival where people can learn about topics like the birds of Missouri prairies and making first aid kits. Other presentations held during the program include Bug and Bird Sound Beatz and Yoga and Mindfulness. Organizations that have informational activities like these may use poster printing to advertise their festivals.

Peace in the Prairie will take place on Friday, April 22 from 10:00 am to 9:30 pm. Boxed lunches for the festival can be bought for $15, and boxed dinners are available for $20. Meal sales will end on April 11. There is no fee to enter the event. People may also purchase throw blankets to stay warm during the program for $8.
