St. Louis to offer fishing camp for children

Greater St. Louis Area Council Scouting will organize a day camp in June for kids interested in fishing.

The Bee Tree Park Fishing Twilight Camp is an experience where children in the Cub Scouts can practice their fishing skills and enjoy STEM-related activities. The Twilight Camp experience also includes nature hikes, archery, water games, and crafting sessions. The event gives members of the Cub Scouts a chance to meet with other scouters in their area. Those who participate in the camp will receive a patch and t-shirt. The camp director will be Dustin Karraffa.

Greater St. Louis Area Council Scouting is an organization that aims to inspire kids to learn about the world and encourage them to positively impact their communities. There are several groups that youths can join within the association, such as the Scouts BSA, Venturing, and Exploring. The annual fees for kids to enter these groups range from $50 to $85. The organization hosts camps at many parks throughout St. Louis, like St. Ann County Park, Union City Park, and Larson Park.

The fishing camp at Bee Tree Park will be held from June 17th to June 20th. Each session will last from 5:30 pm and last until 8:30 pm. The cost of the program is $75 per child. The camp is also open to the siblings of Cub Scouts and kindergarten graduates. Any organization that hosts summer camps like this can use poster printing to advertise their activities.
