St. Louis to hold culinary event
The city of St. Louis will organize a festival in September for food lovers at the Ballpark Village.
Taste of St. Louis is a fest that gathers several local restaurants to compete in competitions and interact with the community. Eventgoers can visit Restaurant Row to try various dishes and vote for their favorite vendors to win the People’s Choice Award. Guests may also watch the Chef Battle Royale Culinary Competition and listen to live concerts at the Music Stage. Families can visit the Kids’ Kitchen to partake in educational activities.
There are several ways for businesses to take part in the culinary fest. Eateries interested in joining Restaurant Row can pay $2,000 and provide four $25 gift certificates for the event. The cost includes two chairs, tent lighting, a sign for the booth, and space for food prep and cooking equipment. Smaller crafts stores can apply to become a vendor at The Market. Exhibitors may apply for the opportunity to display their signage throughout the festival and distribute marketing materials.
The culinary festival will be held from Friday, September 23 to Sunday, September 25. There is no cost to enter the event grounds and view the performances, though all food must be purchased. Organizations that attend local food fests such as this may give out promotional pens to people to increase their brand recognition.
