St. Louis to hold collectors convention
Holiday Inn Downtown in St. Louis will be holding a pop-culture and comics convention in February.
Missouricon is an event where people can browse niche vendors for collectibles and meet with celebrities. The convention will have several special guests, such as Linda Young, Justin Nimmo, and Jeremy Inman. A cosplay contest will also be held at the event that features experienced judges like Mx Ash Frost and Blonde Cosplay. Other activities at Missouricon include a Super Smash Bros. Tournament and a donation drive for toys and comic books.
The convention will have multiple sponsorship packages for brands interested in promoting themselves to eventgoers. Companies can become an official truck or car sponsor for $2,500, and shuttle bus sponsorships can be bought for $1,500. Store owners who want their logos added to the convention’s lanyards may pay $2,000. Businesses can also purchase corporate booth spaces near the entrance of the event for $1,750.
