St. Louis golfing tournament to benefit kids
The Saint Louis Crisis Nursery will be organizing a golf tourney in June at the Forest Park Golf Club in St. Louis.
The Fore the Kids Golf Tournament is a four-person scramble where people can join in to help raise funds for the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery. The group was initially founded in 1986 and works to prevent child abuse and provide families with resources such as parent empowerment training, home visits, and food insecurity programs. The experience will include breakfast, box lunches, heavy appetizers in the afternoon, and a live auction. Participants may also purchase mulligans (second attempts if they botch a stroke) at the tournament.
Businesses interested in raising their visibility while supporting a good cause can sponsor the golfing tournament. The cost to sponsor the event ranges from $250 to $25,000. Companies that become a sponsor will receive benefits such as their logos being featured on the course’s signage. Those who donate $25,000 will also be given coolers with snacks and beverages on their golf carts. Organizers for golf fundraisers similar to this may give corporate gifts to sponsors to thank them for contributing to the cause.
