Southwest to add nonstop St. Louis-Charleston, S.C., flight
Southwest Airlines is adding a number of flights to the schedule they operate in and out of Lambert-St. Louis International Airport in St. Louis, Missouri. They are adding one daily nonstop flight to San Diego and Boston that will operate only during the summer months. They're also adding one nonstop flight daily to Nashville, Tennessee and Cleveland, Ohio, which will operate beyond the summer, though it has not been announced if the flights will be year-round. Finally, they're adding the Charleston flight, a nonstop—but it will operate only on Saturday and Sunday.
Adding these new flights means Southwest will have 108 flights departing from Lambert daily. Southwest has its own terminal at Lambert, since it is the facility's most important carrier, operating about half the flights originating there.
Airport officials said a number of airlines that have gates at the field will probably increase their activity this year and that this summer, more than 250 flights will depart daily, increasing seat capacity by about 4.5%. Officials anticipate that in June, departing flights will offer over 34,000 more seats than the same period in 2016.
Southwest and Lambert Field itself plan to continue with their plan to enhance and modernize Terminal 2, where Southwest operates. Two additional gates went into operation last year.
Whether it’s an airline or a high street store, postcard printing can be a great way to announce new additions to services to a potential customer database.
