Rams to kick off charity benefit
Along with its sponsor Edward Jones, the Rams football team will be hosting the 5th annual Kickoff for Charity Luncheon at the start of September. The Luncheon will benefit the Greater St. Louis United Way.
At events like this, many organizations visit brochure printers to create pamphlets and programs that can be distributed to attendees, recognizing sponsors and giving a schedule of speakers.
At the luncheon, fans will sit at tables with their favorite Rams players, and will receive a preview of the upcoming 2014 season. Attendees will also be able to bid during an auction of rare items, such as Super Bowl tickets, and a team road trip. The 2014 United Way campaign goal will also be announced during the luncheon. Steve Savard, ESPN’s Voice of the Rams will host the event.
As a new addition to the event this year, guests will be able to choose the Rams player they sit with at certain Community MVP tables; these seats will be limited.
Kevin Demoff, COO and executive vice president for the St Louis Rams stated in a release that the Rams are proud to support the United Way of Greater St Louis and the work they do in the community.
The event will be hosted at St. Louis Union Station next Tuesday, September 2. Tickets and tables are available for purchase through the Rams website, or by calling the ticket line. September 2.
