New restaurant opening in Southwest Garden
The Southwest Garden neighborhood of St. Louis will soon have a new place for foodies to gather, according to an article in the Riverfront Times.
The hugely popular Taco Circus, which operated for a long time in Bevo Mill, closed that location in April and will open soon in Southwest Garden. Christian Ethridge, who runs the place, says the new location will be “epic.” He says the new space will continue to focus on food, but will be much larger, in order to give people a place where they can relax, bring in large groups of friends, and have fun.
The new Taco Circus will take over the premises recently occupied by Three Flags Tavern. Even better, Ethridge is bringing in two major talents to his team at the new Taco Circus: Eric Inthaluexay and Cesar Correa. Inthaluexay and Casey Colgan will co-manage the bar, while Correa will be chef de cuisine as well as head chef.
Although Taco Circus served outstanding food, it operated in the style of a fast-food restaurant. The addition of Correa and Inthaluexay to the staff indicate Ethridge is determined to transform Taco Circus into a nightlife and dining destination. Correa comes to Taco Circus from Nixta, a hotspot in Botanical Heights. Inthaluexay also comes from Nixta, where he tended bar.
No opening date has been given, but Ethridge says he wants to open as quickly as possible. Promotional products are often given away on occasions like this.
