New food hall announces tenants

City Foundry STL is far from complete, but tenants are already leasing space, and the food hall recently announced their names and what they will be serving to eager diners.

The tenants just announced are Ukraft, a food truck that will now have a brick-and-mortar store, where patrons can build their own panini and salads; and Press Waffle Company, which makes Belgian waffles. Fans of the Hawaiian fish dish poke will find their favorite dish at Hello Poke, from Daniel Jansen and Amy Guo, while those who prefer comfort food might try CropCircle, where Samantha Mitchell will feature items like brisket mac and cheese, and fried chicken.

Maria and Jason Sparks are getting ready to open Sumax: Hummus & Wraps, the fare at which is self-explanatory, while Brian Schmitz and Jonathan Schoen will open a creperie called Good Day, where diners can have their choice of savory or sweet crepes. Michael Friedman, formerly the chef at Retreat Gastropub, will have two spaces: Juice Box Central, where smoothies and fresh juice will be served; and Lost & Found: A Burger and Pizza Joint.

People who want sweets can check out Mokyu Mokyu, where Ameer Rawal, James Lettau, and Laura Leister plan to serve Japanese taiyaki, along with cones filled with either red-bean filling or vanilla. These tenants will join Punch Bowl Social and Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in the food hall, which should open in 2020. Venues like this can improve patrons' experience by using flyer printing to create a floor plan of the spaces.
