Adventure Is Barking™ will be holding a three-week training class for puppies at the Westonka Animal Hospital in Mound.
Puppy 101 is a mini-class and individualized experience that caters to the training goals of students instead of following a set curriculum. The course is designed for dogs without formal training and will primarily use positive reinforcement to help the puppies learn better behaviors. The sessions can teach dogs about potty training, obeying basic commands, and how to walk nicely while on a leash. All participating pups must be vaccinated and have a friendly demeanor.
Adventure Is Barking™ is a dog training company that holds its sessions outside of a traditional class setting. The founder of the organization is Sara Spevacek, who is a professional dog trainer with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical and Health Education. A few of the events organized by the training company include the Turkey Trot Pack Walk, Spooky Pups Halloween Scavenger Hunts, and Mid-Day Training Adventures.
The first training session for puppies will be held on Thursday, November 3 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The class will also meet on November 10 and November 17. Those interested in signing their dogs up for the course must pay $180. People who offer training sessions similar to this may use business card printing to give clients their contact information.
