Crafting workshop brings Coldwater creatives together
A creative workshop is being planned near Coldwater, and area artists are encouraged to enroll and attend the event.
The Beach Glass Windows creative workshop has an official start date, and area artists are encouraged to sign up and learn a new skill. The crafting party will provide the setting and supplies to help attendees create a custom beach glass window to decorate their homes or gift to friends and family.
The windows will be made using beach glass collected from Michigan's sandy beaches, along with colorful shells and soft stones. The end result of the art project will be a decorative piece that participants can hang on the wall in their homes to enhance its decor. Brochure printing can provide tips and instructions for participants to follow along and continue similar projects at home.
Students will receive step-by-step instructions, along with the frame and all supplies necessary to create the finished piece. The piece will measure 11 inches by 9 inches, and guests can choose from five different designs, including ferns, waves, and a dragonfly. Advanced registration is recommended, as spots are limited and expected to fill up quickly.
